1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top left, tap the Menu icon.
3. Scroll down, then tap Settings.
4. Tap the Gmail account you'd like to unlink from your other account.
5. In the "Linked Account" section, tap the Unlink account.
6. Choose whether to keep copies of emails from the account.
7. Tap Unlink.
** After you unlink your other account from Gmail, you can choose to keep or delete existing copies of your other account's messages in your Gmail inbox.
* If you delete copies from Gmail, they’ll still be in the inbox of your other service.
* If you keep copies in Gmail, they’ll stay in your Gmail account. However, if you move or delete them in Gmail, these actions won’t be reflected in your other account.
** After you unlink your accounts, Gmail will stop showing you new messages from your other account.
