New Facebook
1. Click dropdown icon in the top right.
2. Select Settings & Privacy > Settings.
3. Click Language and Region in the left column. From here, you can:
** Change the language you see on Facebook. Keep in mind, when you change your language, your region settings (such as date, time and numbers) automatically update to match your region format.
i) Click Edit next to Facebook language and select a language.
ii) Click Save Changes.
** Change how dates, time and numbers are shown on Facebook. Keep in mind, this won't change the language.
i) Click Edit next to Formats for dates, times and numbers and select a region.
ii) Click Save Changes.
** Change the temperature to Fahrenheit or Celsius.
i) Click Temperature and select a temperature.
ii) Click Save Changes.
Classic Facebook
1. Click dropdown icon at the top right of Facebook and click Settings.
2. Click Language and Region in the left column. From here, you can:
** Change the language you see on Facebook. Keep in mind, when you change your language, your region settings (such as date, time and numbers) automatically update to match your region format.
i) Click Edit next to Language for buttons, titles and other text from Facebook on this device and select a language.
ii) Click Save Changes.
** Change how dates, time and numbers are shown on Facebook. Keep in mind, this won't change the language.
i) Click Edit next to Formats for dates, times and numbers and select a region.
ii) Click Save Changes.
** Change the temperature to Fahrenheit or Celsius.
i) Click Temperature.
ii) Click Save Changes.
Note:
i) Changing the language settings for your Facebook account won't change your computer, phone or tablet's settings.
ii) If you change your Facebook language settings on one device, it won't change the settings on another device. For example, if you change your Facebook language settings on your computer, you'll also have to update your Facebook language settings on your phone.
