You use WhatsApp Web and want to block a contact, follow the steps.
1. Open WhatsApp Web on your browser > click on the three dots icon on the top right of the chats feed
2. Click on Settings > Blocked > Add Blocked Contact.
3. Search for the contact you want to block and select it.
4. Alternatively, you can head to the chat of the contact, click on the name, select Block.
5. If you want to block an unknown number, go to the chat window, press Contact Info > Block > Block.
